Sa Rota d'en Palerm
Mallorca
Mallorca is perhaps perceived by many tourists as a sun, sand and sangria holiday island. In fact the interior is stunningly beautiful with fertile valleys and views of the mountain ranges. Situated right in the middle of the island is this little gem. Away from tourist resorts and built-up areas, Sa Rota is an XVIII century stately residence today converted into five apartments (one of them with two bedrooms) and two double rooms, surrounded by 28 hectares of fig, almond, carob and fruit trees. The peaceful country setting assures a pleasant stay in a family atmosphere.
A delicious homemade breakfast is available daily and traditional Majorcan dinners can be arranged on request. There are many excellent restaurants in the surrounding villages and a must is a visit to the fascinating Wednesday market in nearby Sineu.
