It’s one of the island’s most iconic and rugged treks and one of the most rewarding if you’re well-prepared. What makes it difficult? Technical terrain: You’ll scramble over large boulders, navigate narrow canyon paths, and occasionally use your hands to climb or descend. Physical fitness: Strong legs, good balance, and endurance are essential. Water hazards: After rainfall, pools of water can form, making sections slippery or even requiring swimming. Length & time: It’s around 6-7 km, but it can take 4-6 hours, depending on pace and water levels. Who's this hike for?
