very year, the Christmas lights in the Balearic capital enchant tens of thousands of people. As early as November 23, the sea of lights is switched on with a big celebration, and the city sparkles every evening from then on until the Sant Sebastià city festival on January 20. January. The city of Palma spends about 1.2 million euros on the nearly 400 km long fairy lights, 1106 illuminated trees, and almost 2,000 baubles and stars, which use about €40,000 in electricity during this time. Stroll with us through the glittering old town, along the illuminated Paseo Borne to the star fountain at Plaça de la Reina, through narrow streets with magnificent city villas that shine in the warm light.
