The “Orange Express” has been traveling through the Tramuntana Mountains since 1912. Surrounded by imposing mountains, the historic trading town of Soller still shines with a special charm today. Explore the old town with the impressive cathedral on the lively market square. Visit one of the art galleries (optional) or take a stroll through the pedestrian zone of “Carrer de Sa Lluna”, some of whose colorful shops are over a hundred years old. You can reach the beautiful natural harbor with the “Red Lightning”, a wooden tram that honks and whistles from Soller to Puerto Soller. What was a small fishing district centuries ago is now the in-spot with charm for residents and tourists. A walk around the marina is highly recommended. Also try the famous orange ice cream or the delicious prawns of Soller in one of the seaside restaurants! You have a great view of the entire bay from the lighthouse, which can be reached in about 25 minutes on foot. In the late afternoon you take the tram back to Soller and the train back to Palma. The tour can also be done in reverse order.
