Description
Departing from Colonia Sant Jordi, the tour follows the maritime route around the Cabrera Archipelago, passing 19 islets, cliffs, coves, and abundant wildlife. Look out for seabirds such as the threatened Balearic Shearwater, flying fish, and, occasionally, common dolphins.
The first stop is at the Foradada islet, followed by a cruise around the archipelago. Upon arrival at Cabrera Port, National Park guides provide information on available island itineraries.
During free time on Cabrera Island, visitors can:
- Visit the 15th-century castle watchtower
- Explore the Museum of Cabrera “Es Celler,” showcasing the Feliu family cellar and island history
- See archaeological sites from Roman, Byzantine, and French periods
- View the French Monument commemorating prisoners from the War of Independence
- Relax and swim at Sa Platgeta and S’Espalmador beaches
