Mallorca: Soller Port and Valldemossa
81 ReviewsDiscover the secrets of the symbolic town of Valldemossa and visit the port of Soller, an important natural port of the Sierra Tramuntana. Enjoy a half-day tour, with pick-up from southern Mallorca.
La Reserva Parc Natural is an entertaining 3,7km walk through beautiful natural parkland near Puigpunyent. Along the way you get up close and personal with brown bears, owls, turtles, peacocks, potbelly pigs and ostriches to a name but a few of the animals that call the park their home.
The walk takes you past 30 waterfalls, there are also caves to explore, beautiful views of the surrounding scenery and make sure you take your swimming costume for ‘Refreshing Mountain,’ where you can cool down in its pools and waterfall.
Half way through the walk is the BBQ and picnic area. You can use the BBQ to cook the family a good lunch or else you can buy food down there if you forget. This is a great day out for all the family and if you haven’t ever seen a brown bear before (like me) then I can tell you they really are worth the entrance fee.
There is also an adventure trail for those looking for a real thrill with zip wires, abseiling, rock climbing and Tibetan bridges to cross (38,40€). Once you reach Puigpunyent then the park is well sign posted. Entrance to the park costs 11,90€ for adults and 5,95€ for chidren.
