Seasonal Mallorcan Cooking Workshop with Market Tour in Palma
This hands-on culinary workshop in Palma suits food enthusiasts interested in Mallorca’s traditional cooking and local produce.
Description
Explore Mallorca’s culinary heritage through a workshop based on local seasonal ingredients and family recipes. Beginning with a guided visit to Mercado del Olivar, Palma’s largest market, you will discover fresh fruit, fish, and artisan products while meeting local vendors. The market tour includes tastings of typical local delicacies or an aperitif during evening sessions.
At Forn de la Llotgeta, an 18th-century bakery turned culinary studio, you will prepare a full Mallorcan seasonal menu. The cooking session includes an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and local wines. The menu reflects Mallorca’s traditional food culture, emphasizing sustainable and organic products sourced from small producers and farmers.
The workshop welcomes up to 8 participants for an intimate setting, with private group options available for 2 to 15 people upon request. Children under 10 are not recommended for open groups but may attend private workshops. Vegetarian and vegan adaptations can be arranged for private bookings upon prior notice.
