Description
Join MDS – My Diving School in Cala d'Or, Mallorca, and take your first breath underwater in a safe, relaxed, and unforgettable way. This Try Scuba experience is ideal for complete beginners — no certification or previous experience required. All you need is curiosity and a sense of adventure!
When you arrive at our dive center, you’ll be greeted by our friendly and multilingual team. We’ll give you a short introduction and show you where to leave your personal items. Lockers are available for your valuables, and we’ll keep things simple and comfortable throughout.
Next, we’ll provide you with all the scuba gear you need: wetsuit, boots, mask, fins, buoyancy jacket (BCD), and regulator. Don’t worry if it’s your first time — we’ll help you try everything on and adjust it to fit perfectly.
Before heading to the water, your instructor will guide you through a short and clear briefing. You’ll learn the essentials of scuba diving: how to breathe through the regulator, how to equalize, how to communicate underwater with hand signals, and what to expect during the dive.
Once you're ready, we’ll load the equipment onto our custom dive tractor and walk together along a quiet, scenic path down to the beach. This relaxed walk brings us straight to our entry point: a calm, sandy shore ideal for beginners.
At the water's edge, your instructor will help you put on the gear. You’ll enter the water slowly and safely, always under the close supervision of your instructor. In shallow water, you’ll take your first breaths underwater and get used to the feeling before starting the dive.
The dive itself lasts about 45 to 50 minutes, and we’ll go down to a maximum depth of 6 meters. You’ll explore the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea, observe local marine life, and enjoy the peaceful sensation of floating weightlessly beneath the surface.
After the dive, we’ll return to the shore, remove the equipment, and load everything back onto the tractor. We’ll then walk together back to the dive center, where you’ll be able to shower, towel off, relax, and reflect on your adventure. Although we don’t have changing rooms, we’ll provide space for you to dry off and change clothes if needed.
The entire experience takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. It’s the perfect introduction to scuba diving — safe, exciting, and unforgettable. Whether you're on your own, with friends, or with family, this activity will leave you with lasting memories and maybe even a new passion.

Important Information
- A medical questionnaire must be completed before the activity. If any answers are marked “yes,” a doctor’s approval may be required
- The minimum age is 10 years
- This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or individuals with serious medical conditions (e.g. heart or lung issues)
- You must wait at least 12 hours after diving before flying
- The dive is from shore, not from a boat
- Arrive at the dive center on time please
