Description

In the afternoon we meet at the diving center. The Try Scuba program is what we colloquially know as trial diving. It is the perfect first introduction to the underwater world with full diving equipment (included). No previous experience is required, but we recommend that participants are at least 12 years old and are good swimmers or at least very comfortable in the water/sea. During a 15-minute theoretical introduction in the diving school or on the boat, a diving instructor will explain and teach you how to use the equipment and the basic diving techniques required for your first dive. The speedboat will take you to one of the hidden bays at Cap de Pinar or Cap Formentor in around 15 minutes. Take a seat in the shaded area in the bow of our boat and enjoy the ride along the rocky coast. Upon arrival at the dive site (Try Scuba dive sites), the instructor will help everyone put on their diving equipment and accompany them to the dive site. This first dive is done from the boat, nevertheless it starts in very shallow water, which means we start in an area where we can (almost) stand and then gradually descend further, so we guarantee comfort for everyone. During the Try Scuba dive we can experience the feeling of floating weightlessly in the sea, practice basic diving skills and explore the dive site. The entire dive takes about 45 minutes and we reach a depth of up to 5 meters. You can easily return to the boat via the diving ladder in the water. After returning to the dive center, all you have to do is rinse your equipment, take a shower and relax in our chill-out area. The entire activity takes around 2 to 3 hours.
