Bodegues Ribas

Mallorca

Pedro Ribas de Cabrera began the construction of the bodega in the year 1711. The Ribas were specialists in the island's traditional crops such as the vine and the olive. Since then the Ca'n Ribas wine has been produceded continuously, and has gained recognition year after year. It first acquired prestige over a century ago when it was awarded the Medal for Perfection at the National Wine-making Exhibition in 1877.

The old bodega has been renovated and modernised to optimise wine-making. The mill, where oil used to be made, has been converted into a warehouse for casks. Pedro Ribas' descendants aim to continue his achievements, working in accordance with a lifestyle that above all respects traditions and perfectionism.

The shop is open from Monday to Friday 09:30 - 13:30 while tours of Ribas can be arranged by appointment.
