With 2 underground and 6 above ground floors the Jaume III store is only slightly the smaller of the two El Corte Inglés stores in Palma de Mallorca. Starting at the top for a change, we find the restaurant and cafeteria on the 5th floor, as well as sports clothing and footwear. There are pleasing views of Palma harbour and parts of the old town.
The 4th floor has children's and babywear, toys and video games, lingerie and corsetry, while juvenile fashion can be found on the 3rd floor. Menswear, including international and house brands, the El Corte Inglés Gourmet Club, footwear, and a hairdresser are situated on the 2nd floor. The first floor is entirely given over to ladies wear.
The ground floor has perfumes and cosmetics, jewellery (including costume jewellery) and watches, accessories, optical items, and a mini-pharmacy. Going down to the first basement level, we find hi-fi and television, computing and other electronics, telephones, books, music and movies, photographic goods and services and stationery. Key cutting, shoe repairs, customer service, travel and ticket agencies can also be found on this level.
Finally, the second basement level houses a supermarket, offering a wide range of food and household requisites, a cake and pastry shop and other services.
Normal opening hours at El Corté Ingles are 09:30 - 21:30; in summer, this is changed slightly to 10:00 - 22:00. The store is also open on certain Spanish bank holidays.
