Es Trenc
Mallorca
Four kilometres of unspoilt sand stretch west from Colònia de Sant Jordi, with very little development, and backed by salt flats supporting a vast variety of resident and migrating birdlife.
Naturally, the beach is very popular with local folk, but the space seems to soak up the visitors, and it seldom feels crowded. The beautiful Mediterranean offers something for all ages along here - shallow, gently sloping sand for the kids, steeper shelving water so you can swim sooner - seek and ye shall find!
There's a declared nudist area somewhere on the four kilometres of sand, beautiful clear water, and protection in the shape of dunes at the back of the beach. Unfortunately, access for disabled people is difficult, but wheelchair ramps are provided.
Other facilities include restaurants, toilets, and a rescue service.
