Leon de Sineu
Mallorca
Sineu is the geographical centre of Mallorca and, in medieval times, had great strategic importance due to its hilltop location. Early Mallorcan kings had palaces here, and this connection is maintained through the royal road to Palma, which passes through no other town or village en route. It's a very interesting town in its own right, and is very well placed as a base for touring holidays, with connections by rail and road to all points on the island.
The Leon de Sineu takes its name from the winged lion emblem of St. Mark, patron saint of Sineu, and the hotel occupies a 15th century building which has been beautifully refurbished. This family run hotel prides itself on personal attention to the needs of individual guests.
