Description

Explore Palma at your leisure and enjoy the wide range of cultural and leisure activities the city has to offer. Explore the old town with its narrow streets, its characteristic courtyards and the different architectures of its most emblematic buildings, such as the Gran Hotel. The Cathedral of Santa Maria, the Almudaina Palace and the iconic building that houses the town hall among others, all examples of the different cultures that have left their mark on the city. Stroll through the lively streets of the centre, the Lonja, the Parque del Mar, the Paseo del Borne and the Plaza Mayor. You can go shopping, visit museums and art galleries, as well as visit the municipal markets or the Santa Catalina neighbourhood, a former fishermen's quarter that has now become the most bohemian quarter of the city. At midday 1.30 pm we will take the coach again to Palma Aquarium. You will have 2 hours to discover the secrets of Mediterranean sea life in the Palma Aquarium. Immerse yourself in natural marine habitat with sharks, clownfish, surgeonfish, blowfish — a total of 8,000 creatures from 700 species. Admire the many colors of the largest sample of live coral in Europe and become an expert in marine life from interactive learning opportunities. Get a feel for starfish and sea urchins in one of the touch-friendly tide pools. Take a break as your children run free in the indoor and outdoor play areas. Travel to the rainforest with the largest rainforest canopy in Europe. Enjoy a rush of adrenaline at the Big Blue, the deepest tank in Europe at nearly 9 meters, holding 11 sharks from two different species. Finally you return to Palma to take the transfer to arrive to the hotel
