Casa Museu Llorenc Villalonga
Mallorca
Llorenç Villalonga (1897 - 1980) was one of Mallorca's most important writers and this town house in Binissalem is closely associated with him. The house was bought by the Consell de Mallorca in 1996, and it was established as a museum in 1999, under the auspices of a Foundation.
Villalonga lived in the house, known as Can Sabater, in summer and during the Spanish Civil War, and, with the addition of exhibition material, it has been kept exactly as it was when the writer lived there.
Open Monday - Friday 10:00 to 14:00, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon 16:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays 10:00 to 13:00.
Closed all of August, December 24 to January 2, and on July 25.
