Description

Join Mallorca’s most famous and most beautiful tour on a day out that will awaken all your senses with different landscapes and a variety of charming modes of transport. We depart from the area of Palma city centre and head to Lluc, where the famous Lluc Monastery is located, surrounded by the Tramuntana Mountains. Lluc is considered the spiritual centre of Mallorca and its beauty is breath-taking. You will have some free time here to explore the monastery or take a stroll in the grounds and the surrounding countryside. We will continue our tour through the mountains on our air-conditioned coach and you will see wonderful views of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountain Range as we slowly snake our way down the winding country roads to the coast. Included in your excursion is a wonderful boat ride following the west coast, where you will enjoy amazing views of villages, mountains and coastline. You will see the karst-like rocks rising up from the sea like majestic statues as you feel the soft sea breeze on your face and take some of the best photos of your holidays. After your boat trip, which will end at Puerto de Soller, there are two more modes of transport to enjoy: first you will ride on the old tram which will take you trundling along the seafront of Puerto de Soller, with pretty seaside views and then up through the hills to the centre of Soller Old Town. From here you will board the famous and unique Soller train, which will take you on a fascinating journey through the valley of Soller, through mountain tunnels and then to the outskirts of Palma. That’s where your coach will be waiting to take you back to your start point after an amazing day out in Mallorca.

Important Information

  • The excursion starts in Palma at 9:30 AM. We offer a free optional round-trip transfer service from various resorts (Playa de Palma, Arenal, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa, Paguera, and Can Pastilla) to the departure point in Palma. This saves you from having to take a taxi or public transport. Alternatively, you can make your own way to the meeting point in Palma. The tour is subject to train and boat timetables, so the itinerary may occasionally run in reverse order. The route passes through mountainous areas. In case of road closures or adverse conditions, the guide may adjust the itinerary or stops accordingly. If the boat ride to Sa Calobra is cancelled, instead of taking the bus down to Sa Calobra, we will go directly to Port de Sóller by bus and enjoy a boat ride around the bay there. This change prevents long waiting times in Sa Calobra (until 13:30) and avoids missing the tram ride in Sóller due to road restrictions.
